Description
Superior Boiler Works model X6-5-1250 horizontal firetube steam boiler rated 350 horsepower, built in 2012. Unit is designed for natural gas firing and includes Johnson NOXMATIC burner assembly, control panel, mounted Eaton 400A heavy duty safety switch, Superior vertical blowdown separator, Simplex Neptune feedwater system with insulated storage tank, pumps, and controls. Boiler is rated for 250 PSI design pressure with approximately 12,075 lbs/hr steam capacity and minimum valve capacity of 13,188 lbs/hr. Unit includes approximately 1,766 square feet of heating surface area. Previously installed indoors and removed from service from an operating installation. Burner turndown ratio is not confirmed and is believed to be approximately 5:1, subject to OEM verification.
