Schenk Process Loss-in-Weight screw feeder, including MechaTron Coni-Flex flexible feed hopper. Stainless steel feed hopper measures 36” diameter X 12” straight side with 10” diameter tri-clamp center top opening, mounted on top of steep cone bottom, leading to screw section. Screw measures 2” diameter X 5’ foot long, mounted inside stainless steel tube to discharge with pneumatic gate valve, product discharges out 6” diameter chute. Equipment is mounted on loads cells, to stainless steel stand with legs. Includes 1 HP, 230/460 V, 1750 RPM, 3/60 Hz motor through gearbox. Also includes 1/2 HP, 230/460V, 1750 RPM, 3/60 Hz motor through gearbox. Includes explosion proof components, pneumatic valves. Screw feeder was previously fed by stainless steel totes that were lifted to center top opening to feed product into hopper. New in 2018.
