Description
Parallel-flow rotary dryer, 7' diameter x 50' long, constructed with 1/2" thick carbon steel shell and 1/4" thick steel internal lifter flights, including intake and discharge flights. Dryer is supported on two 7" face riding tires and four 8" face trunnion wheels. Equipped with sprocket-and-chain drive powered by a 50 HP electric motor through a speed reducer for drum rotation. Includes a 7' diameter x 10' long combustion chamber with natural gas burner rated at 18 million BTU/hr for direct-fired drying operations. System includes burner controls and gas train. Designed for continuous processing of bulk materials using parallel-flow heated gas and material movement through the rotating drum.

General Information
Parallel-flow rotary dryers are industrial thermal processing systems designed to reduce moisture content in bulk solids by introducing heated gases in the same direction as the material flow. Internal lifting flights repeatedly raise and cascade material through the heated gas stream to promote moisture evaporation and consistent drying. These systems are commonly used in mineral processing, aggregate production, chemical manufacturing, fertilizer processing, and bulk material handling. Rotary dryers are particularly suited for continuous drying of granular, particulate, and free-flowing materials where high-volume moisture removal is required.
