Description

2015 GE Jenbacher JMC 312 natural gas-fired cogeneration system rated at 675 kW, designed for simultaneous electrical power generation and thermal energy recovery. System features a 12-cylinder Jenbacher gas engine coupled to a three-phase generator with GE Jenbacher DIA.NE engine management and LEANOX combustion controls.


Complete system includes associated cooling and heat-recovery equipment including elevated Evapco cooling tower, hydro chiller / heat-recovery system, heat exchangers, circulation pumps, vessels, insulated piping, valves, structural support platforms and related ancillary equipment as installed. Also includes an unused replacement Jenbacher engine received in January 2026.


System was reported fully operational immediately prior to shutdown on June 3, 2026 due to facility closure. Approximately 66,785 operating hours at shutdown and reportedly producing approximately 632 kW immediately prior to shutdown. DIA.NE control system was upgraded in December 2021 with new HMI, wiring and programming. Generator was replaced between December 2022 and April 2023.
