Description
300 gallon Ross Model CDA-300 dual shaft vacuum mixer equipped with sweep agitator and high shear disperser. Sweep mixer has provisions for scrapers; scrapers are not installed. Includes portable stainless steel jacketed mixing vessel rated 2 PSIG internal and full vacuum (-5 PSIG external) at 300°F. Vessel jacket is rated 50 PSIG at 300°F. Mixing system is driven by explosion-proof motors including one 20 HP, 1775 RPM motor and one 30 HP, 1775 RPM motor, both rated 208-230/460V. Mixer includes hydraulic lift arrangement for raising the mixing head and removable/portable vessel configuration. Photographs show sanitary stainless steel vessel construction, multiple top connections, bottom discharge, instrumentation, piping, local controls and heavy-duty casters. Approximate overall height is 11 ft 1 in. Ross vessel certification plate indicates year built 2020.

General Information
Ross CDA-series dual shaft mixers combine a lower-speed sweep agitator with a higher-speed disperser in a common mixing vessel. This configuration is used for blending, dispersion and processing of products requiring both bulk circulation and high-shear mixing. The liftable mixing head and portable vessel arrangement permit the vessel to be removed from beneath the mixer for product handling, cleaning or changeover.
