Description
Stainless steel lab size ribbon mixer with approximately 1.75 cubic foot estimated working capacity. Features an 18” long x 16” wide x 18” deep open-top, U-shaped stainless steel mixing trough with double ribbon agitator mounted on a common shaft. Ribbons measure approximately 1/4” thick and 1” to 1-1/4” wide. Equipped with 3” diameter center-bottom discharge. Agitator is chain-and-sprocket driven through a gear reducer and base-mounted electric motor, with outboard pillow-block bearing support. Stainless steel product-contact surfaces with drive components enclosed within a mild steel base.

General Information
Ribbon mixers are commonly used for blending dry powders, granular products and other bulk materials. The horizontal ribbon agitator circulates material throughout the trough to provide consistent blending, while the center-bottom discharge allows the mixed product to be emptied directly from the vessel. This compact mixer provides approximately 1.75 cu. ft. working capacity.
