Description
FMC Model 50 Pulper / Finisher with rated processing capacity of approximately 5 to 10 tons per hour depending on product and operating conditions. Machine is driven by a GE 25 HP, 1760 RPM motor rated for 230/460V, 3-phase, 60 Hz power. Equipped with an approximately 17 in. x 16 in. top-mounted stainless steel feed hopper and a 0.045 in. stainless steel pulping screen. Product-contact areas are stainless steel. Discharge arrangement includes an approximately 6 in. PVC connection reducing to a 3 in. liquid outlet. The pulper/finisher separates pulp and liquid from skins, seeds, cores, and other unwanted solids. Unit is mounted on an elevated support frame and includes electrical controls.

General Information
Pulper/finishers are commonly used in fruit and vegetable processing lines to break down incoming product and mechanically separate usable pulp or juice from unwanted fibrous material. The FMC Model 50 can be used for products including tomatoes, apples, berries, squash, pumpkin, stone fruits, citrus, and similar produce, with throughput dependent on the product and desired finished consistency.
