Description
Prater Model PAV-6S CT rotary airlock feeder/valve, designed for controlled feeding and discharge of powders, granules, and other dry bulk solids while maintaining an air seal between process equipment. Features a 6" diameter inlet, chain-driven rotor with safety guard, Nord SK 372 gear reducer, and 0.5 HP Nord TEFC gearmotor. The reducer provides an approximate 32 RPM output. Commonly installed beneath hoppers, cyclones, dust collectors, sifters, and pneumatic conveying systems for metering bulk materials into downstream processing equipment.
