General Information
Tubular drag conveyors are widely used for gentle, enclosed conveying of fragile and free-flowing bulk materials. A continuous cable fitted with polymer discs travels through enclosed tubing, gently pulling product through the conveyor while minimizing product degradation, segregation, and dust generation. These systems are commonly utilized throughout the food, coffee, dairy, pet food, seed, grain, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, plastics, and chemical industries where sanitary handling, low product damage, and flexible routing are required. Their enclosed construction also reduces contamination and simplifies housekeeping compared to conventional mechanical conveying equipment.
