General Information
Double planetary mixers are designed for blending and kneading highly viscous products that cannot be effectively mixed using conventional agitators. The planetary mixing action continuously moves material throughout the vessel while maintaining close wall contact for efficient mixing and heat transfer. These mixers are commonly used in the manufacture of adhesives, sealants, silicones, composites, inks, coatings, putties, and specialty chemical formulations where uniformity and intensive mixing are required.
