Description
Unused industrial shredder constructed of mild steel designed for size reduction of a variety of materials including food waste, organic waste, agricultural byproducts, and other bulk solids. The unit features a cutting chamber measuring approximately 13" x 15" with a hopper opening of approximately 26" x 25". Discharge opening measures approximately 15" diameter with approximately 13" clearance to ground. The shredder is driven by a 5.5 kW motor operating on 480V, 3-phase, 60 Hz power at approximately 1770 RPM, coupled to a gear reducer with a ratio of 40:1 resulting in a final output speed of approximately 44 RPM. Overall dimensions are approximately 58" L x 38" W x 80" H with an approximate weight of 1,000 lbs. Suitable for pre-processing materials prior to dewatering, composting, or further downstream processing.
