Description
Unused CT-300 screw press / dewatering machine designed for continuous solid-liquid separation using progressive mechanical compression. Material is introduced through the feed hopper where a rotating spiral auger compresses the product against a 0.75 mm sieve screen, allowing liquid to drain while conveying solids toward the discharge outlet. Product contact surfaces are constructed of stainless steel, with the exception of the screw shaft end and sludge plug which are mild steel. The unit is driven by an 18.5 kW motor operating on 480V, 3-phase power at approximately 1776 RPM, coupled to a gear reducer with a ratio of 58.12:1 resulting in a final output speed of approximately 30 RPM. The screw measures approximately 52 inches in length by 12 inches in diameter, with a bottom solids discharge of approximately 6 inches in diameter. Designed for processing capacities of approximately 5 to 8 cubic meters per hour (approximately 1,320 to 2,113 gallons per hour) depending on material characteristics. The unit is mounted on a structural base frame. Suitable for processing sludge, food waste streams, agricultural byproducts, manure, and other high-moisture materials requiring mechanical dewatering.

General Information
Screw press dewatering machines are commonly used in wastewater treatment plants, food processing facilities, agricultural operations, and organic waste management systems where efficient separation of liquids from solids is required. Equipment of this type provides continuous mechanical dewatering with relatively low energy consumption compared to thermal drying or multi-stage separation processes. Typical applications include sludge processing, manure handling, food waste reduction, brewery byproducts, and other fibrous or high-moisture materials requiring volume reduction prior to disposal, composting, or further processing.
