Description

Scott Equipment heavy-duty single-shaft paddle mixer with approximately 519 cubic feet working capacity and 577 cubic feet total volume. Constructed with 304 stainless steel product-contact surfaces, designed for low-shear blending of powders, granules, and moisture-sensitive materials. The lower trough includes a low-pressure water/glycol jacket to support heating or cooling during conditioning processes.

The mixing chamber is equipped with a full-length paddle shaft, along with dual 14" × 12" hinged access doors and a 24" × 12" sliding discharge gate. The drive assembly consists of a 100 HP motor coupled to a hollow-bore reducer, achieving an approximate 10 RPM paddle speed. Bearings are heavy-duty Dodge SAF housings.

The interior features an 80–100 grit stainless finish, appropriate for nutraceutical or food-grade applications. This mixer was previously used for nutraceutical blending and was reportedly run only three or four times.
