Description

Anderson Dahlen dual-screw Holoflite thermal processor / dryer, equipped with (2) overlapping screws measuring 24" diameter x 20' long, constructed from 316L stainless steel. The overlapping flight design provides continuous conveying, mixing, and efficient indirect heat transfer for high-moisture or difficult-to-handle materials. Both the screw assemblies and the thermal dimple jacket are rated for 100 PSI / full vacuum @ 350°F / -20°F. The unit was last used to dehydrate food waste for an animal feed application and was previously heated via a Fulton hot oil heating system. ASME Section VIII code constructed with National Board No. 344, Serial No. 327437C-2. Designed for continuous thermal processing where controlled heating and robust material handling are required.

General Information

Anderson Dahlen is known for manufacturing heavy-duty, custom stainless steel thermal processing equipment designed for continuous industrial service. Dual-screw Holoflite processors are widely used for indirect heating, drying, and dehydration of bulk solids, slurries, and organic byproducts, particularly in animal feed and ingredient recovery applications. Common uses include converting food waste and byproducts into stabilized, shelf-stable feed ingredients, reducing moisture content, controlling pathogens, and improving material consistency prior to downstream processing. The overlapping screw configuration supports uniform heat transfer and consistent product movement, making this equipment well suited for high-moisture, sticky, or variable feedstock streams where enclosed, controlled thermal processing is required.
