telescoping and reversible stacking discharge conveyor
- Stacker traveling distance, 700 feet
- Traveling triper conveyor 48" x 700' long with 100
HP motor
This
complete dock unloading system was last used on nickel ore.
It operated a 1000 tons per hour but was limited by the speed
at which the ships could be unloaded. Approximate capacity
of the stacker itself would be 6,000 to 8,000 tons per hour.
Additional miscellaneous equipment included with the system:
- Transfer tower
- Sampling station
- Grizzly station
- All electrical controls and switch gear
- Complete extensive engineering package including: civil
drawings, maintenance file, etc.
- The system was new in 1994 and used for a few years only
